SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY

 

Registration 10:30-11:30 am

All participants are asked to check in no later than 11:30 a.m. Because of the very full field, the start of the tournament can’t be delayed. In case of an unexpected delay on the day of the tournament, please call the Pro Shop at 703-580-9000 ext. 2225, so we know you are coming. Mulligans will be sold for $10 apiece (a maximum of four mulligans per foursome).

 

Putting Contest 10:45-11:30 am

We are pleased to offer a Putting Contest on the Practice Green. . Tickets to participate in the putting contest are $5.

 

Shotgun Tournament Start 11:50 sharp

A box lunch and refreshments will be available for your enjoyment on the course. Course contests include the longest drive and closest to the pin for men and for women. Four holes will be designated prize holes for a Hole in One. The Grand Prize for a Hole in One on Hole #5 is a car from Farrish Buick, Pontiac and GMC Trucks.

 

Post-tournament Reception & Awards Dinner 5:15 pm

Dinner, awards and our auctions will take place in the beautiful Old Hickory Clubhouse. Live and silent auction prizes will include golf rounds at some of the top private and public golf courses in the area, gift certificates to area restaurants and other unexpected and unique offerings.

 

PLAYING FORMATS

All foursomes will play in a Scramble Format (all players hit off the tee and the group selects the best ball positions to play out the hole).

 

Prizes will be awarded to the Top Scramble Foursomes.

 

EVENT ATTIRE

 

Men must play dressed in contemporary golf shirts and shorts. Shirts with collars and sleeves must always be worn.

 

Please note that any form of denim is not accepted golf attire.

 

Women must play dressed in contemporary golf attire that includes no short shorts.

 

Dress for the post-tournament dinner is the same as above.

 

Showers are available for your use.

 

Only soft spikes may be worn on the course.
